In my consulting sessions, I aim to have the student answer as many of his/her own questions as possible; quite often, just in speaking about his/her writing, the tutee is able to glean the information necessary to progress in his/her assignment. On the other hand, I tailor my consulting strategy based on each student's unique needs, enabling me to help tutees with a broad range of abilities and assignments.
