To express your ideas clearly and succinctly in a writing assignment, don't be afraid to make "global" revisions! As a more "big-picture" person, I enjoy sitting down with students and brainstorming different organisational structures to convey arguments more persuasively. At the end of the day, I hope that students leave the writing center with a good idea of how ideas can be better articulated and expressed through the written word.
